Resident Parking

Residents of Seaview (South Side, East of Ocean Boulevard), Marine & Ocean Terrace

Your neighborhood has been designated as a "Residential Parking Area Only" on a yearly, seasonal basis. The season begins on May 1st and ends on September 30th. To be able to park out on the street during this period will require the owner of an affected property (located within the designated Zone) to apply online for a permit. The documents you will need for that website are as follows: Proof of residence (i.e. copy of the deed bearing your name), a driver's license bearing that same address as well as a registration also bearing the same address (If the home in this area is a summer or second residence then the proof of ownership will suffice along with your DL/Registration). Once the application process is completed you will be asked to make an appointment with me. You will have to bring your car to City hall where a resident parking sticker will be applied to the exterior glass of one of your car windows.

Ordinance Number 325-24.1 is the law that regulates this Residential Parking program and Ordinance 325-49 Schedule XXII designates which streets are "Residential Parking Only". As per 325-49 the following streets are "Residential Parking Only": Marine Terrance both sides, Ocean Terrance both sides, and Seaview Avenue (from Ocean Boulevard East to Ocean Avenue) the south side.

There are 92 legal spaces within this designated area and owners living within the designated area will have the option to purchase up to two permits. The fee is $25 per permit and there are no guest passes.

There are no visitor passes under the ordinance. In that case, visitors will have to park either in the driveway or off-site. Vehicles parked within these designated areas not displaying the correct color-coded residential parking sticker will be issued a summons for the violation.

The application is on The Permit Portal website.
