City of Long Branch Road Improvement Program

As part of the annual City of Long Branch Road Improvement Program, utility mark-outs will begin Monday, August 26, 2019, with survey layout and construction to begin thereafter. The Fiscal Year 2018 project includes improvements on Rockwell Avenue, Park Avenue, Second Avenue, Berry Place, Memorial Parkway, Pearl Street, Shrewsbury Avenue, Park Place/Brinley Avenue, Conover Place, and Florence Avenue. The scope of work includes milling and asphalt resurfacing, drainage improvements, concrete curb and sidewalk restoration, concrete curb ramp upgrades at various intersections to ensure ADA compliance, and associated striping.

The project was advertised for public bidding and the contract was awarded to the qualified low bidder Precise Construction of Freehold, NJ, in the amount of $1,647,855.00. Engineering and construction administration is being performed by

CME Associates of Howell, NJ under the direction of City Engineer Laura Neumann.
