LBPD's Keeping Connected With Community Kids Contest!
Attention Long Branch Kids!The Long Branch Police Officers miss seeing our kids now that schools are closed and social distancing is so important! We want to keep in touch with you virtually and have a little fun with some contests! A Brand New Contest posts every Monday & Friday at 1 PM on our Facebook page ( for the duration of home schooling. Two winners (one from Pre-K to 3rd & one from 4th to 8th) will win a free pizza from a local restaurant! Each contest will be a unique challenge with detailed instructions. Some examples may include photo, drawing, puzzle, essay, video or trivia contests. Winners will get a gift certificate for a free pizza with delivery from a local restaurant. The prize will be brought to their home by one of our officers.
Remember, contestants must be a Long Branch resident, currently in Pre-K through 8th grade.

Public Notice from the LBPD Detective Bureau:
The LBPD Detective Bureau reports a recent increase in car burglaries. LBPD reminds residents to lock their vehicles and NEVER leave keys, fobs, purses, wallets or any valuables on seats, the dash or anywhere in sight! NEVER leave boxes, bags, tools or equipment in the back of an open pick up! Take your belongings with you. Most instances of car burglaries can be avoided by simply locking the vehicle and removing any valuables that may attract a thief.

Long Branch has a new and improved system for keeping in touch with our residents. We are calling it Alert Long Branch and the service is being provided by smart911. Sign up today to receive emergency alerts and notifications by phone, text and/or email. We plan to use Alert Long Branch for more than just emergency alerts, in the near future we will use it for community notifications.
